The Main Bar & Restaurant

At the Centre of all the other venues is the Thirsty Whale's Main Bar and Restaurant. This area is mainly a restaurant during the day and early evening and turns into one of the hotest night spots in town in the later evening. It is also an excellent place to meet friend, family, or work colleagues for a catch up and a drink any time of day.

The bar is large with a high ceiling. The shape lends itself to be portioned off to seperate dining or socialising groups from other customers. We also have one of the biggest screens in town along with 5 plasma screens for your viewing pleasure.

If your group is holding a function at the Thirsty Whale, you can meet in the main bar have a drink and view the irish memorabilia around the room while you are waiting for your group to arrive. We also have a surpurb view over the harbour from the front deck.
